Ingredients
  1. ½ pound - Butter, unsalted
  2. ½ cup - Sugar
  3. 1 - Egg Yolk
  4. 1 tbsp - Half & Half Cream
  5. 1 tsp - Vanilla Extract
  6. 2 cup - All Purpose Flour
  7. ½ tsp - Baking Powder
  8. ½ cup - Walnuts, chopped
  9. Toppings, as you desire (jam, cherries, walnuts, etc)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray cookie sheet with cooking spray so cookies do not stick.
  2. Sift together flour and baking powder; set aside. Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla, cream and egg yolk in a mixer until fluffy. Gradually add flour mixture, mixing well until blended. Fold in chopped nuts.
  3. Roll dough into large marble size balls and place about an inch apart. With your thumb, gently press down into the cookie to create a reservoir. Top with whatever toppings you choose.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes. Let the cookies cool for a moment on the pan before moving to a cooling rack.
